Dear AKR members,

Registration for the 2019 Mumeishi 3’s Championships is now open our website portal (http://www.mumeishikendo.com.au/championship.php). Please find attached the invitation which covers basic rules and promotional poster.

This year’s events will be held at the Beaconhills Secondary College Berwick Campus, 3806.

Mumeishi is also pleased to announce the attendance of Tashiro Jun’ichi Sensei, Kendo kyoshi 8 Dan from Saga Prefecture.

Registrations will close November 23rd.

Entry fees:
Team event – $70
Women’s Individual – $15
Invoices will be sent out at a later date.

Support request for Ballarat Kendo Taikai

Greetings all,

Just a request for support for the Ballarat Kendo Taikai on Sunday afternoon 10th November. Last year the refereeing came down to a few competitors so if any of your members 3rd Dan and above need some shimpan experience please encourage them to attend. Again this year we have two competitions, individual Kyu and individual Dan, both gender inclusive.

The All Japan Kendo Federation (AJKF) is kindly taking the responsibility to host FY2019 FIK Kendo Referee Seminar for the Asian Zone as described below. AKR will receive the program and application form from FIK by the end of October.

Date: Saturday, 29th February 2020 to Sunday, 1st March 2020 (Welcome party is planned on February 28th February 2020)
