Hi everyone,
On Wednesday we will be going through Kata 3 and 7, please memorize them beforehand. Also, please prepare any questions for sensei/seniors in the Monday and Wednesday sessions if you have any.
Training plan for Monday 1 June – Kendo Training, 6pm:
Topic: Incorporating strength and conditioning training as a means of getting better at getting better
Subjects covered:
- What is strength and conditioning training
- Different movement types
- AJKF videos – context and critique
- Hokkaido Kendo Renmei video’s – context and critique
- How to train at home – what exercises to do, linkage and movement development, training methodologies that aid Kendo development
