PHYSICAL TRAINING IS BACK

We’re slowly returning back to full on training! We will be training at Games Hall as usual but our current training times are:

  • Monday: 6pm – 8pm
  • Wednesday: 6pm – 7pm
  • Saturday: 9:30am – 11am

You will be required to scan a QR code to enter Monash Sport and another QR code to join training so please bring a phone. You will also be required to wear a face mask/face shield at all times whilst training unless you have appropriate reasoning (as listed in RTP).

Please come exactly on time so we can minimize the amount of time spent loitering in the building. We will begin signing people in at the start of the training time in front of the Games Hall. If you come early, you can wait at the barbeque area just outside Monash Sport, as opposed to standing at the hallway to the Games Hall.
Please read through the RTP and COVID Risk control documents (attached) before attending to make the sign in/out process as smooth as possible!

P.S. If possible, come fully dressed in your bogu so we can maximize training time! Especially on Wednesday.

Extra face shields

The club currently has 2 size 13 bar mengane Face shields (costing AUD$ 13.34 each), if you need to purchase any, please let any committee member know in person or reply to this email!

Kendo Board AGM

The Kendo Board will be holding their AGM on 19th December (Saturday) 4:00pm AEDT via Zoom. You can find the 2019 AKR Kendo Report attached in this email. If you have any questions, please send them in to [email protected]

Storage of past photos and compilation video about MUKC

We are creating a storage to store all past photos to document as much of the past (almost) 30 years of history of MUKC! If you have any photos you would not mind sharing, you can upload it here.

Toney is also working on the compilation video and any videos you share would be awesome to have! (i.e. Shiais, social events, etc)
