2021 membership registration [IMPORTANT]

It’s the time of the year when you need to re-register your membership if you’d like to continue training with us!

You can re-register by heading over to our Unione page and selecting “Join or Renew” and selecting “MUKC 2021 Senior Membership” or “MUKC 2021 Junior Membership”. Then follow the on-screen instructions to process your registration and you’re done~! Hoey has created an awesome step-by-step instruction document if you’re having any difficulties (attached).

P.S. After filling out the form, a payment option will appear to pay for the membership, please don’t leave the page!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reply to this email or let a committee member know.

New QR code sign-in method

What better way to start the new year than with new things? The club will start using the contact tracing form provided by the Victorian government for our training sign-ins, starting tomorrow, Monday 4th January 2021.

Depending on your phone, you might have to download the Service Victoria app to scan the QR codes and complete the form at training.
Google play
Apple App Store

Visiting restrictions

As of 3rd January 2021, the COVID-19 daily new cases of community transmission in Victoria is above 5, so visiting other clubs and visitors to our club are not allowed until the situation stabilises again and community transmissions are less than 5.

Returning to physical training

Our current training times are:

  • Monday: 6pm – 8pm (Games Hall)
  • Wednesday: 6pm – 8pm (Games Hall)
  • Saturday: 9:30am – 11am (Stadium)

You will be required to scan a QR code to enter Monash Sport and another QR code to join training so please bring a phone. You will also be required to wear a face mask/face shield at all times whilst training unless you have appropriate reasoning (as listed in RTP).

Please come exactly on time so we can minimize the amount of time spent loitering in the building. We will begin signing people in at the start of the training time at the Games Hall/Stadium entry. If you arrive early, you can wait at the barbeque area just outside Monash Sport, as opposed to standing at the hallways.

Please read through the RTP and COVID Risk control documents (attached) before attending to make the sign in/out process as smooth as possible!

Storage of past photos and compilation video about MUKC

We are creating a storage to store all past photos to document as much of the past (almost) 30 years of history of MUKC! If you have any photos you would not mind sharing, you can upload it here.

Toney is also working on the compilation video and any videos you share would be awesome to have! (i.e. Shiais, social events, etc)

A note from our beautiful president

Happy new year! Thank you to all our members who made it through the year with us, it was great to see you all at the few trainings we got and the end of year event. Hopefully despite the few cases we now have in Victoria we will still be able to train in person and slowly get back to “normal”.

All the best,

Toney Evans
